AMT Stealth R/T 1/24 Scale

The Dodge Stealth, is an impressive automobile which boasts sleek styling and brandishes an aggressive shape. These cars incorporate some of the latest automotive technology available today which is put to good use when demonstrating its performance potential. Although often compared to sports cars, the Dodge Stealth is a grand touring 2+2 seater sport coupe which has but one drawback; a weight disadvantage. This, of course, is more than compensated for with ample acceleration and braking power.

IMEX 1958 Cadillac Eldorado 1/24 Scale

1957 saw the Eldorado (both the Biarritz convertible and the Seville hardtop) once again present an innovative rear-end design, a low, downswept fenderline capped by a pointed, in-board fin. The rear fenders were commonly referred to as "chipmunk cheeks". This concept was used for two years, but did not spawn any imitators.

Revell Monogram 1996 Mustang Cobra Convertible 1/24 Scale

For 1996, Ford finally did away with the aging 5.0 liter OHV V8, replacing it with a new 4.6 liter, SOHC, "modular" unit that was smoother, had slightly better fuel economy, and was able to meet pending emissions standards; performance, however, was roughly the same.

The new engine became standard equipment in the Mustang GT, but the SVT division wanted and needed more for the Cobra in order for it to compete with the more powerful Camaro models. They did this by taking the existing 280 hp (209 kW) DOHC 32V all aluminum modular engine and massaging it to produce 305 hp (227 kW) at 5800 rpm and 300 ft·lbf (407 N·m) of torque at 4800 rpm.

Ford also changed from the vernable Borg Warner T-5 to the newer T-45 (from 1996-1999). This 'new' Cobra was capable of running 0-60 miles per hour in 5.9 seconds. The '96 model proved capable of performance levels matching those of the '95 Cobra R.

Revell 1959 Chevy Impala Hardtop 1/24 Scale

The Impala was introduced in 1958 as a new up-level, sporty trim package created for Bel Air coupes and convertibles. Unique to the model were its six taillights, which set it apart from lower trim levels with only two lights on a side. This classic styling cue would become its trademark. It was named for a southern African antelope. The Impala became a separate model in 1959 in both two and four-door versions and became the best selling car in the Chevy product line.

IMEX 1968 Chevrolet Corvette 1/24 Scale

The third generation, patterned after Chevrolet's "Mako Shark" (designed by Larry Shinoda), started in 1968 and ended in 1982. This generation has the distinction of being introduced to the motoring public in an unorthodox — and unintended — fashion. 1968 marked the introduction of Mattel's now-famous Hot Wheels line of 1/64-scale die cast toy cars. General Motors had tried their best to keep the appearance of the upcoming car a secret, but the release of the Hot Wheels line several weeks before the Corvette's unveiling had a certain version of particular interest to Corvette fans: the "Custom Corvette", a GM-authorized model of the 1968 Corvette.
